Although it could be argued that the team dropped two points in Seville, Barça also showed their superiority and set yet more new records. Below are some of the facts and figures arising from the game:

- Iniesta was Barça’s best passer of the game with 132 completed out of 144, just a bit better than Xavi, with 124 from 143 attempts. Medel was Seville’s best with 31 completed from 40 attempts.

- Seville committed twice as many fouls as Barça 20 to 10.

- Although Barça dominated possession, both teams had a similar number of efforts on goal, 11 for Seville and 12 for Barça, though the visitors could include 2 efforts against the woodwork in their attempts.

- Bojan Krkic was back on target three months after his last goal, against Real Sociedad, and has now scored four in La Liga this season.

- Víctor Valdés equalled the legendary Antoni Ramallets’ record by making his 288th league appearance for the Club and he is now only headed by Andoni Zubizarreta with 301.

- Busquets finally saw his run of winning games come to an end. The draw means he went 25 La Liga matches, winning every time he figured.

- Busquets also joins Valdés, Xavi, Messi and Mascherano on the list of players who are just one card away from suspension.

- Barça equalled their record of unbeaten games in La Liga. They have now gone 26 games without defeat, matching the mark set in 1974.
