- The team made 760 passes against just 228 by Seville.

- Iniesta was Barça’s best passer of the game with 132 completed out of 144, just a bit better than Xavi, with 124 from 143 attempts. Medel was Seville’s best with 31 completed from 40 attempts.

- Seville committed twice as many fouls as Barça 20 to 10.

- Although Barça dominated possession, both teams had a similar number of efforts on goal, 11 for Seville and 12 for Barça, though the visitors could include 2 efforts against the woodwork in their attempts.

- Bojan Krkic was back on target three months after his last goal, against Real Sociedad, and has now scored four in La Liga this season.

- Víctor Valdés equalled the legendary Antoni Ramallets’ record by making his 288th league appearance for the Club and he is now only headed by Andoni Zubizarreta with 301.

- Busquets also joins Valdés, Xavi, Messi and Mascherano on the list of players who are just one card away from suspension.

- Barça equalled their record of unbeaten games in La Liga. They have now gone 26 games without defeat, matching the mark set in 1974.
