Ibra and Eto'o in the spotlight

Jordi Clos

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o will both be playing against their former team-mates on Tuesday evening and will undoubtedly be the focus of much of the attention.

They featured in the biggest player swap of the summer and on Tuesday they will have to line up against the team that gave them so much success in recent seasons. Barça v Inter will be very special for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, though the Swedish striker is still an injury doubt. Meanwhile, Samuel Eto'o returns to the Camp Nou determined to do what he knows best – score.

All eyes on Ibra

Tests on Sunday showed that the problem has improved and on Monday he worked hard with one of the fitness coaches, together with Leo Messi. As of Monday evening he remains doubtful and a decision will be taken before the match.

Thank you Barça
Thierry Henry, who played a controversial role in France’s winning goal against Ireland in their World Cup qualifier, has thanked Barça for the Club’s support over the last few difficult days. Henry has even considered retiring from the international side and told 'Equipe'. “I can never thank the manager and the Barça fans enough for their support”.
