www.fcbarcelona.cat

Xavi remains optimistic about Barca's progress in the Champions League and insisted: “it's still in our hands”. Xavi also praised Rubin for their dogged defensive display.

Barca dominated the game in Kazan, but were unable to convert their possession into goals, but Xavi wasn't too downhearted:”that's football! The qualification is still in our own hands”. Rubin were always going to be tough to break down and Xavi had praise for them: “they are a very well organised team who defended really well – you have to congratulate them on that”.

Looking to the rest of the group games, Xavi stressed that. “we have to try and take all the six points that are still to play for”.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic

“It was very similar to the game in Barcelona. We had the chances, but we were just missing a bit more luck”.

“There's still two games to go, so we don't need to worry”.

“We'll do everything possible to top the group”.

A ndrés Iniesta

“We kept trying till the end, but it just wasn't to be. We missed the most difficult part – scoring”

“We have to keep fighting till the end”

Seydou Keita

“I'm “sure we'll finish to – there's still 6 points to play for”

Gerard Piqué

“It's still down to us”.

“We deserved a bit more, but a draw isn't all bad. Our next game is at home in front of pour fans”.

“The fans have no reason to worry”.

Carles Puyol

“We looked for a goal all the way through the game, but the ball just didn't want to go in. It was very hard to make clear chances”.

“We knew they would play very defensively with two very close lines of four in defence and in midfield. They closed down very well”.

“They have some real quality players. They are very dangerous on the break and are a great team all round”..

Víctor Valdés

“We had our chances, but it just didn't happen”.

“ Rubin area very tough team”.

“The cold made it hard to play, it was very cold, but the doctors did a good job for us and we can't use it as an excuse”.

“It's a close group still and the next two games will be very hard fought by everyone”.

“I'm satisfied with how I did my job and with the rest of the team”.
