Alves back from injury

The week has started well for Barça with the news that right back Dani Alves has made a full recovery from his thigh injury and will be available for Wednesday evening’s Champions League match away to Kazan.

The Brazilian international has made a speedy recovery in just 13 days from an injury that initially looked set to keep him out for 3 weeks. He will therefore be available for the match against Kazan having picked up his injury in the previous group stage game against the same team (1-2).

Out for three matches

Alves has missed a total of three games, two in the league (Zaragoza and Osasuna) and one in the Cup (Cultural Leonesa). In the two league games his place was covered by Puyol while in the Cup it was shared between Jeffren and Maxwell. In his absence the team has managed two wins and a draw.
