www.fcbarcelona.cat

Barca striker Thierry Henry, who will be 33 this year, is going into his fourth World Cup and will be looking to win again the title that he took with the French team in 1998.

Henry is the oldest Barca player at the World Cup in South Africa and even though he’s won almost everything it’s possible to win in the game, he’s still after more and looking to go all the way with France in what is likely to be his last Tournament.

The core of the team stayed together to go on and win the European Championships two years later, seeing off Italy 2-1 in the Final and then taking the Confederations Cup in 2003 when Henry scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 win over Cameroon.

Four clubs and many titles

The Frenchman has won League titles, Cups, Champions Leagues and World Club Cups and only failed to pick up silverware at Juventus, where he spent just six months.

Individual honours

Henry was Europe’s leading scorer in the 2003/04 and 2004/05 seasons and won the same award in eth Premier League on four occasions, but it’s not just his goal scoring that has made him such a success, it’s also his team play and ability to make chances for his teammates.
