A busy March

Edgar Fornós

Following on from the draw against Almeria, Barça now have a busy March ahead with matches against Valencia, Stuttgart and Osasuna at home and visits to Zaragoza and Mallorca.

Barça returned from Almeria with a point but also with the disappointment of seeing Real Madrid take first place on goal difference. However, there’s no time for regrets as the team looks ahead to a string of matches that could decide the season one way or another.

5 matches in 15 days

2009-11-07_PARTIDO_23.JPGBarça face a tough test over the next two weeks with no fewer than 5 games. In the Spanish league they receive Valencia and Osasuna in the Camp Nou and travel to Zaragoza and Mallorca. Meanwhile, in the Champions League they play the second leg of the R16 tie against Stuttgart in Barcelona.

Waiting for the sixth

Assuming FC Barcelona get past Stuttgart to the quarterfinals, they will also have another European match before the end of the month. The match would be played on 30th or 31st March after the Mallorca league game.
