Barça arrive in Stuttgart


At just alter midday on Monday, the Barça party led by Joan Laporta landed in Stuttgart ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash.

The players met at the Club’s training grounds for breakfast before leaving for Barcelona airport. The plane took off at about 11 am and arrived in Stuttgart some 90 minutes later.

The flight went off without incident and the players were whisked away from the airport by coach to their hotel. The temperature in Stuttgart was a bracing 8ºC.

Official uniform

Apart from the players and coaches, the party included Club president Joan Laporta, vice-presidents Joan Boix, Rafael Yuste and Albert Perrín, Board members Josep Anton Colomer, Patrick Auset and Xavier Bagués, as well as technical secretary Txiki Begiristain.

A busy afternoon

After lunch and a short rest, the players will go to the stadium, the VfB Stuttgart Arena, for a training session at 6.30 pm. Shortly before training, at 5.45 pm, Josep Guardiola and Lionel Messi will hold a press conference.

Dinner for the directors
This evening, the representatives of FC Barcelona will have dinner with the directors of Stuttgart in the Clubhouse Boar Room of the stadium.
