Congratulations Pedro!

Edgar Fornós

Barca striker Pedro Rodríguez is celebrating two years since his debut with the first team and enjoying a great moment of good form. Since his debut against Murcia two seasons ago, Pedro has become a key part of Guardiola’s team.

Two years ago today -12th January 2008- Pedro Rodríguez made his first team debut at the Nou Camp when Frank Rijkaard sent him on against Murcia for his first taste of the big time.

Just a couple of minutes to start

The young Pedro, or “Pedrito” as it said on the back of the number 33 shirt he wore that day, was to see just 5 minutes more that season, coming on for Bojan on 85 minutes against Valladolid.

Key player

Congratulations Pedro!
Just 22, but already made history
Pedro may still be at the start of his career, but he has already made history by scoring in all six competitions he played in last year. He started by scoring at San Mames in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup, following that up with another strike in the European version and then went on to score in the league, Cup, Champions League and World Club Cup.
