Abidal, Thiago and Jonathan in squad of 19

Éric Abidal has finally recovered from his ischiotibial problems in his right leg and is among the 19 players named by Guardiola. Thiago and Jonathan, of Barça Atlètic, are also in the side.

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who collected his fifth yellow card against Vila-real (1-1), is suspended. Therefore, the squad includes 17 first team players and two drafted in from Barça Atlètic.

Jeffren is still recovering from a knee injury and Keita and Touré are away on international duty at the African Nations Cup which begins on Sunday.

All 19 of the players have already had a taste of first team action in 2010. Twelve of them, plus Ibrahimovic, played on Saturday against Vila-real, while Guardiola used 14 players in the Cup match with Sevilla (1-2). So all of them are players to be borne in mind and have a chance of appearing against Tenerife.
