No surprises for Recreativo

Pep Guardiola has named an 18-man squad for FC Barcelona’s game against Recreativo on Sunday and there has been no room for Albert Jorquera, Pedro or Víctor Sánchez.

The trio have been rested while Andrés Iniesta, Éric Abidal and Gabriel Milito are all out with injuries and have not been included in the list that the Blaugrana trainer announced at midday on Saturday after the last preparatory training session before the game (21:00, live on Canal Plus and R@dio Barça).

Pedro with Barça Atlètic

Pedro may have been left out of the first team, but he has been called up by Luis Enrique to play for Barça Atlètic in their game against Gavà in the Miniestadi on Saturday. He also appeared last weekend for the club’s B side against Terrassa.

Víctor Sánchez could yet be named in the Barça Atlètic squad too and make an appearance this weekend.
