Sylvinho and Henry out against Racing

The 20 players initially named to face Racing are now 18 after Sylvinho and Henry were both eliminated from the squad.

There are 18 players on the list to face Racing tonight at the Camp Nou. Sylvinho and Henry have been dropped, though both players still took part in this morning’s preparatory session.

As is common under Guardiola, the Barça players held their last training session on the day of the match. They worked out on the Camp Nou pitch on a sunny morning in the city of Barcelona.

Márquez and Cáceres

As Pep Guardiola had already announced in his Friday press conference, Rafa Márquez also trained despite being left out of the team to play Racing. He was also joined by Martin Cáceres, who got back to Barcelona this morning. There were 13 Uruguayan internationals on his flight, which came back to Europe a day late due to the thick fog at Montevideo airport.
