Idyllic setting for stay in England

Edgar Fornós

During their preseason games in England Barça will be staying at Danesfield House, a hotel in Marlow some 35 miles from London. The first team will be able to enjoy unique scenery and complete peace and quiet.

The Danesfield House hotel in Marlow, England, was opened in 1900. It is 35 miles from London and only about 10 minutes from Bisham Abbey where the squad will train during their first preseason camp.

The hotel where Barça will be staying from 21 to 26 July is on the Thames and surrounded by countryside. The team is to begin preseason with the Wembley Cup featuring games against Tottenham and Al-Ahly.

Work and leisure

The rooms

First team players and coaching staff alike will be able to sleep in comfortable rooms with fine views over the hotel gardens and the Thames.

Paradise where you really feel at home
Danesfield House lacks for nothing and guests there really feel at home. The original hundred-year-old front has been preserved and the inside looks more like a private home than a hotel complex. Celebrities from the worlds of music, films and business have stayed there; for instance David Hasselhoff, star of TV series “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch”, recently spent part of his holiday time at the hotel.
