Touré renews contract until 2012

The Ivory Coast international has extended his contract with FC Barcelona by one more year, and is now tied to the club until June 30, 2012. His ‘release clause’ is now set at 100 million euros.

On Friday afternoon, Touré Yaya signed a renovation of his Barça contract. The 26 year old midfielder, whose contract was set to expire on June 30, 2011, has added a further year to the same, thus extending it until June 30, 2012.

The ‘release clause’ on that contract was originally 60 million euros, but this has now been upped to 100 million.
