Iniesta: “We’re two matches away from Rome”

Speaking to reporters after a good personal performance against Bayern, Andrés Iniesta, was also delighted with the team effort. “We knew we had the tie in our hands but we wanted to show that we’re a team with ambition”.


Iniesta also expressed his satisfaction with the way the season is progressing. “It’s all been perfect and I’m very happy for the whole group and the way things are turning out for us. It’s very important that we haven’t lost recently”.

“The next tie will be attractive and interesting. We just have to remember that we’re two matches away from Rome”.

Wednesday a rest day
The team will return to training on Thursday afternoon (time to be confirmed) at the Joan Gamper sports complex in order to prepare the upcoming league clash against Getafe.
