A busy Easter week

The visits of Bayern Munich on Wednesday and Recreativo de Huelva are the highlights of a very busy week for the FC Barcelona first team as they look to celebrate Easter with a win in the Champions League and another in la Primera.

After enjoying a day off on Sunday, the Blaugrana players return to training on Monday afternoon, at 18:00 CET, as they begin preparations for the visit of Bayern Munich for the first leg of the Champions League quarter finals. The training session will take place behind closed doors and be on the pitch in Camp Nou. Afterwards, Gerard Piqué is scheduled to speak to the press.

Hotel stay

On Tuesday, training will also take place inside Camp Nou and will start at 11:00 CET. Like they did in the last round before the visit of Olympique Lyonnais, the Barça players will stay together at the Hotel Le Florida. The squad will travel to their base at 19:00 CET.

Training on matchday

Pep Guardiola has often scheduled a light training session for the day of the game this season and Wednesday will be no different as the players will be put through their paces at 11:00 CET. After that the players will go back to the hotel before returning to Camp Nou once again to play the match.

Change of focus

On Thursday the players will quickly have to change their focus and return to thinking about the league as Recreativo are due to visit Camp Nou on Saturday evening. The squad will only have three sessions with the first taking place on Thursday at 11:30 CET, the second on Friday morning at 11:00 CET and then another in Camp Nou at 11:30 CET on the day of the match.

Back to the Champions League
With no time to take a break, Josep Guardiola will coach his players on Sunday at 12:00 CET in the Ciudad Deportiva as they begin to prepare for the second leg of the Champions League against Bayern Munich, which takes place on Tuesday, April 14 in Germany. The squad will travel to Munich on Monday and train in the Allianz Arena on the same day at 19:00 CET.
