Waiting to know the opponent

On Friday Barça will find out which team they’ll have to take on in the quarterfinals of the Champions League: Liverpool, Chelsea, Villarreal, Bayern Munich, Porto, Arsenal or Manchester United.

The draw will be held at 12.00 on Friday.

There are no restrictions on possible pairings and the order in which the matches will be played is still to be decided. The semifinal draw will also be made.

Barça representatives

The draw will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon (Switzerland). FC Barcelona will be represented by Club president Joan Laporta, sports vice-president Rafael Yuste, Albert Perrín, the director responsible for relations with international bodies and football associations, technical director Txiki Begiristain and director of football Raül Sanllehí.

After the draw, they will greet the representatives of the opposing team and speak to media.

The calendar

Both legs of the quarterfinals will be played in April. The first leg will be on 7th or 8th and the second leg a week later. The semfinals are scheduled for 28th or 29th April and 5th or 6th May. The final will be hosted by the Rome Olympic Stadium on 27th May.
