Thierry Henry returned to training with the FC Barcelona squad on Wednesday after almost four weeks out with an injury. The French forward joined in the session with the rest of the players in the Mini Estadi.

Frank Rijkaard was evidently delighted to have Henry back in his ranks and after the initial warm-up exercises, gathered everyone into the middle of the pitch to welcome the forward back.

Messi and Oleguer

The only two players missing from training on Wednesday were Lionel Messi and Oleguer. The two players continued with their specific recovery programmes away from the squad.

Carles Puyol had a fright during the session as he went down clutching his left knee, but was soon able to continue training normally after some medical attention.
