Abidal, Touré and Crosas back in the squad

Éric Abidal and Touré Yaya return to the FC Barcelona squad for the game against VfB Stuttgart after missing the Depor game through illness, while Lionel Messi, Gianluca Zambrotta and Santi Ezquerro are all out.

Marc Crosas is also recalled along with Abidal and Touré and as Barça face their final test in Group E of the Champions League, having already qualified and secured first place. Zambrotta is missing with a knee injury, while Ezquerro has strained a muscle in his right leg and will be out of action for around ten days. Oleguer Presas, Thierry Henry and Edmílson are also missing as they continue with their respective recovery programmes.

Lionel Messi has not been named in the squad as he is one game from a suspension in the competition.

Training day

Barça trained on the Camp Nou pitch on the evening before the game and the session was a normal one, that included warm-ups, stretches, tactical work and a small game.
