Unpicked players in training

Some of the players that will not be taking part in this evening’s game with Alcoyano trained on Tuesday. The injured Edmílson, Ezquerro, Deco and Eto'o, as well as the suspended Zambrotta, all reported to the club.

The first team has travelled to Alicante for tonight’s cup match, and others are away on international duty, but due to injuries and a suspension, there were plenty of players at the Camp Nou this morning for training.

Ezquerro and Zambrotta first to arrive

Santi Ezquerro, who did not travel to Alcoi due to a pubis problem, worked out first thing this morning at La Masia. He was soon to be joined by Gianluca Zambrotta, who is serving a suspension following his sending off in the league game with Getafe.

After training on the pitch the duo then continued their workout in the gym. Ezquerro, now alone again, also did some running exercises on the Camp Nou turf.

Edmílson continues therapy

José Edmílson is still recovering from injury and came by the club this morning. At one point, he tried a bit of running on La Masia’s pitch.

The other players recovering from injury are Eto'o and Deco, who were also seen at the Camp Nou doing specific tasks to overcome their own particular problems.
