Season to kick off at El Sardinero

Barca kick off the 2007-08 season with a trip to El Sardinero to meet Racing Santander. The season finishes with an away game at La Condominia against Murcia and the first derby game against Real Madrid is at the Nou Camp on 23rd December.

The league fixtures were announced today and Barca will start the season up in Santander on 25th or 26th August, with other first round games including Madrid-Atlético de Madrid and Valencia-Villarreal.

Fiftieth anniversary against Sevilla

The team make their home debut against Bilbao, followed by a trip to Pamplona to face Osasuna. The 50th anniversary celebrations of the Nou Camp will coincide with the visit of Seville on 23rd September, whilst the 2nd December sees Rijkaard’s men cross over the city to the Montjuich Stadium to face Espanyol, with the return game at the Nou Camp set for 20th April.

Barça-Madrid for Christmas

The seventeenth round of the league on the weekend before Christmas sees Real Madrid at the Nou Camp, just a week after a tough game for Barca away to Valencia, whilst the game at the Bernabeu is scheduled for 7th May.

Season ends in Murcia

The run in to the end of the season sees a home game against Mallorca followed by a visit to newly promoted Murcia to finish off the league campaign.
