Ezquerro and Thuram come to end of contract

This Monday 30 June the contracts of Santiago Ezquerro and Lilian Thuram with FC Barcelona have come to an end.
Ezquerro is leaving the club after three years in the first team, while Thuram departs after two seasons wearing the number 21 shirt.
Ezquerro has less time on pitch
In his first year at FC Barcelona, Santi Ezquerro played eleven League matches and four Champions League ones. It was his best season in terms of appearances. The 31-year-old player leaves the Camp Nou having won four titles: the League, the European Cup and two Spanish Super Cups.
Thuram has heart problems
Lilian Thuram, 36, leaves FC Barcelona and is negotiating with French outfit PSG. On Friday he announced he has a heart malformation and this has at least for the moment held up his move to PSG. Thuram won a Spanish Super Cup during his time at FC Barcelona.
Edmílson to Villarreal
The third player to end his contract this 30 June is José Edmílson. The Brazilian has already
signed with Villarreal for two seasons.
