Márquez out against Levante

The Mexican defender took a knock at Celtic Park and will have to sit out the next league match. He is working hard to be fit in time for the cup game with Valencia.

The Medical Services have announced that Rafa Márquez has contusion in his right leg after taking a hit against Glasgow Celtic. But it is nothing serious, and he should be fine in time for the cup semi final against Valencia next Wednesday, but misses the weekend league fixture against Levante.

The Mexican played all 90 minutes at Celtic Park alongside Gaby Milito. He has been following an individual programme since the match and did not take part in the two training sessions held at La Masia.
