New procedures for Nou Camp season ticket waiting list

With the new requirements and the recently introduced rules for becoming new club members, the club hopes to achieve an improvement in the availability and management of season tickets at the Stadium for club members.

Over the last 7 years an average of 225 seats a year have been freed up and a total of 10.000 changes in season ticket ownership have occurred, 50% between family members and 50% to new members. This dynamic has meant that the average waiting time for a season ticket for the Stadium has become 42 years.

Members on current waiting list

The list of members who in recent years have communicated a desire to buy a season ticket has reached 9.141. This number has been arrived at by a process of many months filtering out members who have passed away, whose membership has lapsed and those who now have a season ticket.

Up until now, members have received no written confirmation of their position on the waiting list and the list was not regularly updated. For that reason, we have decided to allow a period of time, until February 28th 2011, during which members who are on this list must re-register in person at the FCB Supporters Services Office (OAB) in order to maintain their current position on the list. The named member must come to the Office in person for this process.

New Applications

From now on, the admission period for new applicants to go on the waiting list for a season ticket will be open all year round. Conditions for inclusion will be:

► Being a child or senior member of the club
► Minimum of two years membership
► Personally coming to the OAB to make an official application
► Being up to date with all payments and not having membership suspended

Annual renovation of applications

In order to maintain the waiting list up to date, members must personally come to the OAB once a year. The period for doing this has been set from October 15th until 7th January every year, so that all interested members on the waiting list can stay on it and in this way avoid any fraud.

Publication of the position on the list

From 1st March, once all applications have been processed, every member can consult the list to see where he or she is on it. This can be done via the club website www.fcbarcelona.cat, and in line with current data protection legislation, or in person at the OAB.

Please note: For organisational reasons, from two hours before match kick off times, the OAB cannot deal with requests connected with the waiting list.
