Barça v Levante to be played on Sunday (18.00)

The Supreme Court has rejected the injunction by the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) and therefore Barça and Levante will play as programmed on Sunday January 2 at 18.00.

Today at midday, FC Barcelona received a message from the Professional Football League (LFP) to confirm that the Supreme Court has “rejected injunction presented by the Spanish Footballers Association (AFE), in accordance with the judicial reasoning presented by the legal representatives of the LFP during the hearing held at this jurisdictional body yesterday”.

Given this decision, the LFP confirms that “the games corresponding to rounds 17 and 18 of the BBVA and Adelante leagues will be played on the days originally stupilated by the National League, namely January 2 and 3, 2011”.
