Gentle training after Espanyol exertions

The Barça squad had a gentle warm down session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper this morning following last night’s 1-5 win over Espanyol.

Of the players who started the Espanyol game last night, only Sergio Busquets came out onto the training pitch this morning, as the rest stayed in the gym.

The first team players who did come out for training - Pinto, Maxwell, Adriano, Mascherano, Keita, Bojan, Sergio Busquets were joined by Milito, who is continuing with his recovery process and Dani Alves and Jeffren Suárez, who is also recovering from injury, came out for some jogging. The players will be back on Monday to prepare for the Cup game on Tuesday against Bilbao.

Eight B team youngsters

As has become the norm this season, Barça B players were also in the training session, with Thiago Alcántara, Miño, Armando, Muniesa, Planas, Riverola, Ilie and Tello joining the first team squad members.
