Afellay to arrive on December 23

Ibrahim Afellay will arrive in Barcelona on December 23 to finalise negotiations over his move to FC Barcelona from PSV, and once an agreement is reached he will undergo a medical at the Catalan club.

PSV have announced that the club and the supporters are preparing a special send-off for the exciting young forward on December 19 when he plays his last game at home for the Dutch giants against Roda JC in the league. However, his very last appearance in a PSV shirt will come in the Dutch Cup away from home against the same opponent Roda JC on December 22. The very next day Afellay will fly to Barcelona.

Done deal

On November 15 Barça and PSV reached an agreement on a deal for Afellay and now the player has to oversee the final details of the deal that will bring him to FC Barcelona. Once that stage is completed he will then have a medical on December 24.
