Guardiola sticks to routine

Guardiola kept to the squad’s usual pre-match routine with training at the Nou Camp this morning. The players have been given the afternoon off before reporting for the match an hour and 45 minutes before kick off.

Tonight’s may be one of the biggest games in World football, but Pep Guardiola is determined to maintain the same routine the team usually follow before a home match, with the squad reporting for training at 11.30 this morning for a gentle session ahead of tonight’s 21.00 kick off.

Milito missing

All the players who trained on Sunday were present this morning with just the injured Gaby Milito missing out and B team midfielder Thiago Alcántara joining the first team squad.

Lunch together

The players had lunch together at the Nou Camp before heading home to rest for the afternoon, with Guardiola calling them back at 19.15 this evening.
