Training with Barça B

The three Barça first team members, Pinto, Keita and Maxwell, that have no international duties, trained today with Barça B. Adriano, who was away on Tuesday, spent the time in the gym.

With Pep Guardiola and Luis Enrique joining forces, 24 players gathered this morning at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The same players as on Tuesday, Pinto, Keita and Maxwell, today teamed up with 19 players from the B team and youth players Dalmau and Rafa Alcántara.

Adriano, who was away yesterday getting a tooth extracted, was back today at the Sant Joan Despí. But the Brazilian didn’t take to the pitch and instead worked out in the gym.

The injured Puyol and Jefrren continued with their own treatment programmes.

Guardiola, the day after

All eyes were on coach Pep Guardiola, as this was his first public appearance since the announcement of the one-year extension to his managerial contract with the club. He is now committed to the club until 2012.
