A busy week

After a day off, Barça return with an action packed week in which they have a cup semi final followed by a league encounter on Saturday.

On Monday and Tuesday, the team have training at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, both times at 11.00. After the Tuesday session, Josep Guardiola will be speaking to the press in the build-up to the game on Wednesday against Almeria.

Training in the stadium

As usual before home matches, Josep Guardiola will be holding a midday training session on the actual day, scheduled to start at 12:30 behind closed doors in the Camp Nou. The players will then be free to leave until they are due back for the semi final first leg, which kicks off at 22.00.

Change of chip

But there will be no time for rest after that, because there will be more training on Thursday at 12.00, where the players will be recovering from the previous night’s exertions while also switching their minds to the next league game away to Hercules. There is more training on Thursday at 11.00.

Saturday in Alicante

The team will be setting off for Alicante on the day of the match. They plan to leave the Camp Nou at 9:45, while the game itself starts at 20.00 in the José Rico Pérez. The current plan is for the squad to train again on Sunday at 11.00 in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
