Chilly morning for training

It was a chilly morning for training in Seattle this morning, with the players well wrapped up as they worked out in a fresh 12 degree temperature.

It was a balmy 32 degrees when the team hit town on Monday, but the a Pacific weather front brought clouds and a 20 degree drop in temperature on Tuesday morning, Guardiola had expressed his happiness with the weather on Monday, but it was perhaps more typical of the area today.

Cold? What cold?

Although most of the squad wrapped up with track suit tops, Puyol and Pique were not to be put off by a little chilliness in the air and they both trained in short sleeves.

Touré back

As Guardiola had announced after Monday’s session, Toure Yaya was back with the squad having got over the bad back he suffered after a fall in the LA Galaxy game, but Victor Valdes did miss the session with a slight knees strain. The keeper stayed atteh hotel as a precaution doing some physio work, whilst Iniesta again trained apart from the rest of the group with Emili Ricart as he works his way back to full fitness.

Ibrahimovic still being careful

It was mainly exercises for the squad and once the ball work started Ibrahimovic worked on his own and also sat out the practice match the rest of the squad played.
