Touré: “it'll be like a final”

David Puig

The Barca players are fully aware of the importance of Wednesday's game in Kiev and speaking to the media on Tuesday evening, Touré Yaya insisted if Barca aren't on form: “we'll be out”.

Touré Yaya knows the game is vital and before the team trained at the Valeri Lobanovski Stadium this evening he insisted: “ Barca are playing for their lives. Ewe can't slip up, because if they win by more than two goals, we'll be out. It's going to be a tough game, but we have to go out to look for a win”.

Tough rival at home

Touré stressed the strength of the Kiev team in their own stadium: “if you discount the Inter game, Dynamo have gone 20 games unbeaten at home, so we are really focussed and we know we will have to be aggressive to win here”. As to the difficulties of the group, the Barca midfielder explained: “we knew it would be hard, there are four league winners in the group and as we've seen every game has been very difficult”.

“I'm happy at Barca”

Touré refused to be drawn into any speculation as to his future at the club, whilst insisting: “I'm happy in Barcelona. I like the city and the club. I've always wanted to play at a big club and Barca is the biggest. My aim is to stay at Barca for many more years”.

Spain the team to avoid in S.A.

Asked about the chances of a meeting with Spain in next summer's World Cup, Touré made his feelings very clear: “I wouldn't want to meet Spain, but we first have to get out of a difficult group ourselves. We're in a tough group, as we were in 2006 with Argentina and Holland, and rivals like Spain or Chile who we could go on to meet won't make it easy for us”.
