The squad had a light training session this morning, with the players who featured last night preferring to work in the gym rather than on the training ground. The team also showed their solidarity with sufferers of ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosi

The players didn't get home from Jerez until the early hours, but time waits for no man at Barca, and Guardiola had them all back at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper this morning to begin preparations for Saturday's game at the Riazor.

Gym session

The players who featured last night were given a gym session to recover from their exertions, except for Pedro who joined the rest of the squad, including Pique who missed the trip to Andalusia, Jonathan dos Santos and Barca Atletic keeper out Rubén Miño, on the training pitch.

Support for ALS sufferers

María Isabel, who suffers from ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis or Lou Gehrig's Disease), was a special guest at the training session and the players all came to meet her afterwards to show their support and learn a little more about the sufferers of this terrible disease.
