Henry gets go-ahead for Osasuna

www.fcbarcelona.cat

After being out for just over two weeks, Thierry Henry was given the medical all-clear on Friday and has been named in the squad to travel to Pamplona.

Thierry Henry has missed four games in total, but Josep Guardiola can now count the French striker in his plans again. Having returned from international duty with an injury, he could make his comeback on Saturday away to Osasuna.

Two weeks out

On Thursday October 15, Henry came back from his spell with the French national team with thigh trouble. The FC Barcelona medics examined the injury and declared that he had torn 1.5 cm of fibre in his femoral biceps.

He has not played for Barça since the game with Malaga.

Six Barça players back

So, Ibrahimovic, Messi, Piqué, Puyol, Iniesta and Xavi are all back after a few days’ welcome rest. In total, 19 players will be travelling to Navarra, meaning one name will be struck off the list on the day of the match.

Last session

This was the last workout before the game with Osasuna. The team will fly to Pamplona on Saturday morning, having been told to report to the Camp Nou at 9.30, and the plane will be leaving at 10.30. That means they should be touching down in Pamplona around 11.35, from where they will be transferred direct to their hotel.
