Straight back to work!

Marc Guillén / Vanessa Forns

There was no time for relaxing for the players today as Josep Guardiola whisked them off for a training session at the Ciudad Deportivo as soon as their plane landed in Barcelona.

2009-10-29_VIAJE_01.JPGThe Cup is history and the players are focussed on their next league game against Osasuna on Saturday night.

The team spent Wednesday night in a hotel in Leon and flew back to Barcelona this morning. Arriving at El Prat at 12.00, there was no time for resting on their laurels after the cup win over Cultural Leonesa as Guardiola began preparations for Saturday night's game in Pamplona with a full training session at the Ciudad Deportivo.

Attention fixed on Osasuna

The plane from Leon arrived half an hour early at 12.00 and the team bus was waiting to take the players off to the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, where they began training just before one o'clock with attention firmly fixed on Saturday's league game against Osasuna

Big group

With the exception of Keita, who worked out in the gym, all the first team squad players who travelled to Leon plus the five youngsters from the reserves and Piqué, Puyol, Xavi, Iniesta, Messi and Ibrahimovic took part in the session.

Two groups

2009-10-29_ENTRENO_10.JPGWhilst the players involved in last night's cup win on Leon enjoyed a gentle work out, with Sergio Busquets and Touré doing stretches apart from the rest of the group, the rest of the players had a normal session. The injured Henry and Milito also trained apart from the rest of the squad.
