Laporta: “We have to concentrate on ourselves”

FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta has insisted that Barca's six game wining run is what the team need to focus on and not be concerned with Real Madrid's possible result in Seville. The President also had words of praise for Pedro.
Ahead of his trip to Mexico and Equador to opoen three XICS
centres,Joan Laporta spoke about Barca's great start to the season and stressed that the season was
still only just getting underway and that he wasn't worried about any possible Madrid result
tonight: “I think the most impotrant thing is that we concentrate on ourselves –
there'll be time for us to look at our rivals but right now we've seen how hard a win can be
against Almeria and I repeat, we have to focus on our work and not worry about other teams”.
Six out of six
As to the team's record equalling sixth win, Laporta commented: “we've equalled one record and that's good. It shows what a talented team we have and how hard they work and how competitive we are. Now we have to break that record”.

“Pedro has shown his great talent”
Joan Laporta also spoke of the effect Pedro has had on the team: “he's a player who's shown
he has the right to be in the first team and has shown he has talent and, what's more, he never
gives up. Most importantly, he can score and that's vital for a forward”.
