Ibrahimovic doubtful for Málaga

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has undergone a series of test son Wednesday that have revealed that he suffered a grade 1-2 blow to his right ankle and is now doubtful for the trip to Málaga on Saturday.

After being substituted against Racing Santander the evening before, the Swedish striker underwent the examinations to see the extent of the damage that he suffered after receiving the knock. The medical team discovered that he had badly bruised his ankle and are unsure if he will be given the green light to play La Rosaleda at the weekend.

Racing blow

The injury that Ibrahimovic suffered came in the second half of the 1-4 win in El Sardinero and although he returned to the pitch for a few minutes afterwards, it was decided that he would be substituted as Pep Guardiola sent on Pedro in his place.
