The FC Barcelona squad arrived back from Santander on Wednesday at midday and travelled straight to the Ciutat Esportiva for a training session.

Having left Cantabria earlier than expected Pep Guardiola and his places were back at Barcelona Airport at 11.45am and were then taken to Sant Joan Despí where they underwent a recovery session. The first team were joined by young starlets Miquel Ángel Luque, Jordi Masip and Marc Bartra.

Slow pace

The rest of the squad worked at the usual rhythm.

Barça's next match is on Saturday, September 26, at 8pm (CET) against Málaga in La Rosaleda. In preparation, Guardiola will hold training session on Thursday afternoon and then Friday morning.
