Márquez back in the frame

Marquez made his return to the team last night when he came on for the last 25 minutes for Pique. The Mexican captain returned after a pre-season injury for his first game at the Nou Camp since picking up a knee injury against Chelsea last season.
Marquez came back from the injury he'd so cruelly picked up in the Champions League semis when he played half an hour against LA Galaxy in the first game of the summer tour of The States, before a muscle injury again sidelined him. Guardiola was finally able to call him into the squad for the Atletico game and he came on for Pique in the centee of defence with just under half an hour left to play.
Iniesta back too
As well as welcoming back Marquez, the 75.928 fans at the Nou Camp also
saw the return of Andres Iniesta who came on for Xavi, also on 65 minutes for his first appearance
at home this season.
Piqué half century
Pique, who was replaced by Marquez, celebrated his 50th league game with his appearance against
Atletico. The Catalan centre back has played 27 games for Barca in La Lliga, having previously put
in 23 appearances with Zaragoza.
