FC Barcelona’s third game of the league season, against Atlético Madrid will be played on Saturday 19 at 22.00 in the Camp Nou.
Josep Guardiola has been informed of the day and time of the match with Atlético Madrid.
Intense week
It means there is a busy week ahead. After tomorrow’s away trip to Getafe, Barça then get their Champions League campaign started. On Tuesday they will be flying out to Milan, and the day after, Wednesday, they face Inter in the Giuseppe Meazza at 20.45.
But there will be little time for recovery. Three days later Barça are back in league action, with the mattress-makers due in town on Saturday for the game that will kick off at 22.00 in the late evening.
Last meeting
The last game between these two sides was on March 1, 2009, at the Vicente Calderón, when Barça
were beaten 4-3. Their last encounter at the Camp Nou was the second leg of the Copa del Rey round
of sixteen, played on January 14. Thanks to goals from Bojan and Gudjohnsen, the home side won that
day, 2-1.
