Final session before leaving for Monaco

The senior squad had their last training session in Barcelona on Wednesday evening before leaving for Monaco. As it is a final Guardiola has decided to take the 24 available players.
The session, the second of the week focussed on Friday’s European Super Cup match against Shakhtar Donetsk, started at 6.30 pm and was held behind closed doors. Reserve team youngsters Marc Bartra and Oriol Romeu joined the usual group.
All available players
As happened last year for the Valencia and Rome finals, Guardiola has decided to take all his available players including Jonathan, Fontàs, Muniesa and Jeffren from the reserves.
A busy day
The players will report back to the training
ground on Thursday morning and leave for the airport at 9.30 am. They will take off for Nice at
10.30 and are due to arrive at 11.50 after which they will go straight to their hotel.
At 1.30 pm manager Josep Guardiola and Brazilian defender Dani Alves will give a press conference at the Foro Grimaldi.
Next session in the Stade Louis II
Barça’s next training session will take place at 8.15 pm on Thursday evening in the Stade
Louis II, where Friday’s match will be played. The session will be open to the press and the
players will already know the draw for the Champions League.
