Two games away from 8th Super Cup

Barca are two games away from their eighth Spanish Super Cup- Ahead of the two-legged clash with Athletico Bilbao, Barca boast a 50% record of victories from 14 appearances in the competition.
Barca know full well what it is to start the season with a title under their belts having won the traditional pre-season Spanish Super Cup a total of seven times from the 14 appearances in the competition.
Record number of appearances
This fifteenth appearance is more than any other club has managed and an eighth title
would equal the record currently held by Real Madrid, Curiously enough, Barca’s first Super
Cutitle came against Bilbao in the 83.84 season .Since then they have claimed the title against
Atlètic de Madrid, Zaragoza, Betis and Espanyol.
Just one game without scoring
In the seven victorious Super Cups, Brac have only failed to score in one game, against Bilbao in
their first winning appearance in the 83-84 season against Bilbao when they lost 0-1 at the Nou
Camp.
