Henry out of France squad

Thierry Henry has not gone to join up with the France squad as he plans to remain in Barcelona in order to recuperate from the ankle injury that is currently suffering from.

The FC Barcelona forward has informed the French Federation that he will not be available for the World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Island son Wednesday.

After informing the club’s medical staff about the pain in his Achilles tendon, Henry saw the area inflame during the match against Chivas de Guadalajara in San Francisco. Now he is set to continue with a programme of recovery set about by Barça’s medical team.
