Eto’o statistics over five years

With 130 goals in 199 official games, Samuel Eto’o wrote himself into the FC Barcelona record books. During a five-year spell at the club the Cameroonian striker became one of the best strikers ever to play for the club.


Eto’o is the third highest goalscorer in the history of the Blaugrana in the league. In all competitions, the player nicknamed the Lion is in joint third along with Rivaldo as he has exactly the same record.

Eto’o statistics over five years
Top scorer twice
According to the Liga de Fútbol Profesional, Samuel Eto’o has finished as the Primera División’s top goalscorer on two occasions as an FC Barcelona player. The first time was in 2004/05 when he finished joint top with Diego Forlán on 25 goals and the season after he won it outright with 26 goals. Quini is the only other Barça player to have won it twice before.
