Keita back with squad

Seydou Keita trained normally today after two days of trouble with his Achilles tendon. There were 21 players involved in today’s session.

Barça are well on course with their preparations for the league decider against Valladolid. After a day off on Thursday, this morning they worked behind closed doors and in heavy rain at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

The big news was the return of Seydou Keita, who trained as normal after sitting things out through injury this week. Things have developed well, and his boots were on again on Friday, and there is no doubt that he’ll be fit to play at the weekend.

Andrés Iniesta also trained as normal after a long recovery from an injury sustained on April 13.

21 players

So, Keita and Iniesta meant Pep Guardiola had 21 players at his command, with reserve player Thiago also joining in. The only man missing was the injured Maxwell. Just 48 hours before facing Valladolid, Barça are looking confident that the Liga title will be theirs on Sunday night.
