League title goes down to the last week

www.fcbarcelona.cat

With Barca and Madrid both winning their games on Saturday night, the league will go down to the wire, with the title being decided next week when Guardiola’s team host Valladolid and Madrid travel to Malaga –both teams fighting to avoid the drop.

One of the most hotly contested leagues in recent years won’t be decided until the final week of the season, with Barca going into the final weekend a point ahead of Real Madrid and knowing that if they can at the very least match Madrid’s result, the title will be theirs.

Champions for 50 minutes

League title goes down to the last week
Last league title at the Nou Camp
The last time Barca won the league title at the Nou Camp was in the 97-98 season when Louis Van Gaal was in charge of the team for the 1-0 win over Zaragoza that gave the team the points and the title.
