Anna Segura

Éric Abidal was back in training with the rest of the squad this morning for the first time since his injury in the game against Arsenal a week ago.

Club doctors had originally warned Abidal could be out for 10 days, but the French full back took part in the first part of training and appeared to have no problems.

Wednesday lunchtime session

The squad’s last training session before the Deportivo game will be on Wednesday at 12.30 behind closed doors at the Nou Camp. With Ibra and Abidal discounted, Guardiola will name his 18-man squad for the game just before kick off, leaving one of the 19 players available to watch from the stands.
