The 19 players in the squad for tonight’s game against Arsenal, together with Puyol and Chygrynsky, held their final training session at the Nou Camp this lunchtime.
The team coach pulled up at the Stadium at just before 11.30 this morning and the players filed out and into the ground for their last training session before tonight’s big game.
Out on the pitch
After a night together at the Hotel La Florida, the team came into the
Nou Camp for one final round of preparation. Guardiola took the players out on the pitch where all
the 19 players available for tonight’s game, plus the suspended Puyol and cup tied Chygrynsky
took part in the session.
One player to sit out
Guardiola will have to discard one of the 19 man squad for the game. The
squad includes Andres Iniesta, who was given the medical okay to play just today, and youngsters
Jonathan dos Santos and Andreu Fontàs. Guardiola is without the injured Ibrahimovic and Puyol and
Pique who are both suspended.
Back to base
Once the training session was over, the team were driven back to their hotel base, where they will
stay until leaving for the ground two hours before kickoff.
