Barça and Arsenal are set to meet again in the Champions League. Here is some trivia associated to the clash of big names.


- Of the seven times Barça have drawn 2-2 away in the first leg of a European match, they have only once failed to qualify in the return at the Camp Nou

- Barça have qualified 8 of the 17 times that they have met sides from the Premier League,

- Barça have not beaten an English side at home in the last five attempts.

- In fact, on their only previous trip to Barcelona, Arsenal drew 1-1 in the group stages in 1999/00.

- Despite the 2-2 scoreline, in the first leg Barça shot 22 times compared to just 6 for Arsenal.

- The Gunners have lost their last two away games in the competition, at Olympiakos and Porto.

- Ibrahimovic (20) and Messi (19) are two of the players that have taken the most shots in this season’s edition.

- With 20 goals, Arsenal is the highest scoring team. Barça have scored 14.

- Andrei Arsahvin, with five, in the player who has supplied the most assists.

- Alexander Song has committed the most fouls (25), along with Real Madrid’s Sergio Ramos.
