Iniesta named in 19-man squad

Andrés Iniesta has received medical clearance and will be among the 19 players in the Barça squad for the game with Arsenal. He was able to train normally at the Camp Nou today.

Barça checked into Hotel La Florida on Monday, and were joined by Andrés Iniesta. The midfielder has been declared fit again and is an option for inclusion in the side that faces Arsenal tomorrow in the Champions League quarter final. Two reserve team players were also included: Andreu Fontàs and Jonathan dos Santos. Ibrahimovic is out through injury, Puyol and Piqué are suspended, and Chygrynskiy is cup-tied.

Iniesta working normally

In the build-up to training at the Camp Nou, the media was able to witness how Andrés Iniesta trained normally. He was joined by the other 16 players that are available, while Carles Puyol jogged with a fitness specialist. The group was completed by reservists Fontàs and Jonathan dos Santos.

After training, the players headed off to Tibidabo. They will train on Tuesday in the Camp Nou at 12.00 behind closed doors to go over the final details before the match with Arsenal kicks off at 20.45 h.
