Training focus on Zaragoza

Marc Guillén / Vanessa Forns

FC Barcelona remained totally focussed on their trip to play real Zaragoza at the weekend as they trained on Friday morning despite the excitement of the Champions League draw.

Before being paired with Arsenal in the quarter finals of the European competition the Blaugrana first-team players were put through their paces at the Ciutat Esportiva. Coach Pep Guardiola, who enjoyed a round of applause on his saint’s day, was not going to allow his players to think about anything other than the three points in La Romareda on Sunday.

Busquets returns

Sergio Busquets returned to full training after spending Thursday working on the sidelines as he continued to try and shake off a knock that he picked up against VfB Stuttgart.

Oriol and Assulin
